2000
"Notre Dame de Paris": the musical comedy produced by Charles Talar and directed by Gilles Maheut was their first major experience of the world of entertainment. And, considering their special contribution to the choreography, the Yamakasi were the only artists in the troupe to take part in tours abroad (Europe, Montreal and Las vegas).
"Taxi 2": a striking participation in the film directed by Gérard Krawzick and produced by Luc Besson, where the Yamakasi do some impressive stunts as "Masked Ninjas".
2001
"Yamakasi": a film in which they are the heroes, produced by Luc Besson and directed by Ariel Zeitoun, an international success, distributed by Europa Corp.
2003
"Les fils du vent / The Great Challenge": a second action adventure film shot with the Yamakasi group between London and Bangkok, produced by UGC and directed by Julien Seri.

The Cirque du Soleil comes to Evry to audition a number of Yamakasi’s pupils (trainers within the group). Creative Director Guy Caron decides to recruit six of them for the big show "Kâ" still played on 2011 (MGM / Las Vegas, USA).
